Who We Are
UATE is a community-led, community-funded organization whose survival programs work to meet the daily, immediate, and material needs of our community.
UATE's survival programs are intended to fill in the gaps left by traditional infrastructure while actively building and encouraging community self-reliance and strength in togetherness.
Our core belief is that we the People are capable of organizing and sustaining ourselves independently via community systems. UATE focuses on building relationships with community members and listening to and learning from them to adjust our programs accordingly.
